This is a fantasy fiction shortfilm on blurring between dream and realstate or LUCID DREAMING. Its about a girl who wakes up to get in a dilemma whether she is in a dream world or a real world because the room she wakes up is not her room but still the things happening are similar to her old thoughts in awake state. Soon she remembers that she had once wished to hide under the bed so actually her imaginations are turning true. Also the stars and planets are exactly how she wanted her room to get converted. Next she is unable to remember anything and hence starts investigating the truth by trying to identify the objects inside her room - like a painting of a horse and she is able to remember it . She concludes its a real world and tries to dance and relax with her books but again things change and her confirmations get wrong and she is again in doubt whether its a real world or a dream world and she has no control over things. Finally she does the final test of dipping her face in water and it gives her a shock because she realises that she has been sleeping while being awake and was awake while she was sleeping or lucid dreaming... Finally she is left with a paradox. The final message is the real world and dream world are blurred . There are still no answers on where do we disappear when we are in dream state and how do we see things in lucid dreaming state. Irrespective of that the philosophically derived message is - human beings have the potential to convert any dream into reality, so what we need to do is live the life we want to and create our own dream word ourselves until the paradox gets solved by scientists. The Bhagvad Gita, many ancient texts, puranas, Adishankaracharya's theory of Maya or state of illusion - clarifies that human beings are always in an illusionary world and its impossible to fathom that illusion. Also The Matrix movies talk about the same concept . So the question is Are we awake? Are we sleeping? Think about it! Director and actress: Swati Panda
